2014 CEE WEDD and City of London Design Competition Results

Congratulations to all groups who presented their design concepts at the 2014 CEE Western Engineering Design Day Competition on Friday, February 14, 2014; and the City of London Design Competition on Friday, February 28, 2014.  The judges were impressed with the continued high caliber of the designs presented by our students.

City of London Design Competition Results:

The first place prize this year was awarded to Cutting Edge Connections (Jordan Switzer, Julie White, Jessie Shepley, Taylor Rivers, Keith Stinson) for their design for a pedestrian footbridge at Boler/Sanitorium Rd. over the Thames River.

The second place prize was awarded to Centerline Consulting Engineers (Joshua RosenKrantz, Daniel Fox, Daniel Frade, Andrew Dawson, Jordan Schweber) for their design for a Clarke Road bridge over the Thames River.

The third place prize was awarded to OPUS Design (William Hayhoe, Fadesola Adedayo, Brendan Logan, Filipe Juliao, Jennifer Stewart, Jessica Confalone) for their design for a pedestrian footbridge at Boler/Sanitorium Rd. over the Thames River.

2014 CEE Western Engineering Desgin Day Competition Results:

The first place prize this year was awarded to LPD Designs  (Lisa MacTavish, Jeff Luckett, Jordan Stern, Dylan Hanna, Luke Teeple) for their design for a pedestrian footbridge at Boler/Sanitorium Rd. over the Thames River. This group was also awarded the Demarco Green Technologies award for the sustainability aspects of their design.

The second place prize was awarded to Cutting Edge Connections (Jordan Switzer, Julie White, Jessie Shepley, Taylor Rivers, Keith Stinson) for their design for a pedestrian footbridge at Boler/Sanitorium Rd. over the Thames River.

The third place prize was awarded to Prestige Worldwide Design  (Adam Leitenberger, Ben Gowing, Richard Ma, Pamela Reed, Brandon Quintaneiro) for their design for a pedestrian footbridge at Boler/Sanitorium Rd. over the Thames River.
